DR. TARRA WILLIAMS,
Medical Director

Born and raised in Sacramento, Dr. Williams began her veterinary career as a Registered Veterinary Technician and spent 7 years working in local clinics before returning to school to obtain her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis. After graduating, she joined an emergency referral practice where she gained over 13 years of invaluable experience before joining Brunswick Veterinary Clinic. After the retirement of the clinic’s original founders, Dr. Williams took over as Medical Director and provides steady leadership for the BVC team. In her limited free time, Dr. Williams enjoys weight lifting, paddle boarding, and cooking great meals to share with her daughter, close friends and family.

DR. ANNE HARRELL,
Associate Veterinarian

Originally from Ohio, Dr. Anne Harrell grew up in a family surrounded by pets and wildlife, and grew a strong connection to marine life while spending summers in Florida. In fact, these summers sparked her desire to attend the University of North Carolina where she earned a degree in Marine Biology after which she worked for a marine mammal and sea turtle rehabilitation center. This work led her back to Ohio to attend veterinary school at the Ohio State University where she graduated in 2008. Since graduation, Dr. Harrell has practiced in Bend, OR and several cities in California before relocating to Nevada County to be closer to family. Outside of work, she spends time with her adventure-loving husband and their pets and can frequently be found hiking, climbing, trail running, camping and snowboarding.
